Tenure Track Faculty Position in Marine Geophysics – Job Opening

We seek a candidate in the broad area of Marine Geophysics. We are particularly interested in candidates having a strong interest in active margins, seismic hazard, submarine avalanches or tsunamis.

Candidates have a PhD, and competence in the area of marine seismics (processing of multichannel seismic data) or sedimentology/ stratigraphy/subsurface geophysics. Preferred qualifications include postdoctoral experience and a demonstrated ability to perform high quality research in the form of publications.

This assistant professor position involves teaching duties in the departments of Geosciences. We expect foreign candidates to be able to teach in French after a reasonably short period of adaptation.
