2011 Annual Meeting
Program Information
M. Beatrice Magnani and Chuck Langston (University of Memphis) are this year’s joint program chairs. Information and schedule for the 35 sessions is now available. There are 261 oral presentations and 154 posters planned for the 3-day conference. Tom Hanks of USGS Menlo Park will deliver this year’s Joyner Lecture on “Extreme Ground Motions.” Rick Aster, Outgoing SSA Board President, will deliver the president’s address at the Annual Luncheon on Wednesday, 13 April. His topic is “SSA and Seismology in the Early 21st Century.”

A searchable database of meeting abstracts, including session, schedule and location info, is now available online.
