Electronic Supplement to
Fast Identification of Near-Trench Earthquakes along the Mexican Subduction Zone Based on Characteristics of Ground Motion in Mexico City

by S. K. Singh, D. Arroyo, X. Pérez-Campos, Q. Rodríguez, A. Iglesias, and M. Ortiz

This electronic supplement contains a table that shows the closest distance to the rupture area R and peak ground acceleration (PGA) of the 70 subduction thrust earthquakes (5.0 ≤ Mw ≤ 8.0; 253 ≤ R ≤ 613 km) along the Mexican subduction zone used for the construction of the new ground-motion prediction equation (GMPE) at station CU, located in Mexico City, ~300–600 km from the trench.

Table S1. Data used for the construction of GMPE at station CU, Mexico City, from subduction thrust earthquakes along the Mexican subduction zone.
