Earthquake Early Warning Flyers

A simple, colorful informational flyer prepared by the Japan Meteorological Agency clearly and succinctly tells people what to do when they hear an Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) alert. Though originally prepared in Japanese, the message translates well into English and other languages. EEW is the topic of the special section of the September/October 2009 issue of Seismological Research Letters (SRL 80:5) that focuses on methodologies and implementation experiences.

Below are thumbnail images of the flyer in several languages. Click an image to view it at a larger size and/or view all the images as a slideshow (javascript required). Click a "Download PDF" link to save a printable zipped PDF copy (US Letter size - 8.5 X 11 inches) to your computer (PDF file sizes are approximately 200-300 Kilobytes).
