This electronic supplement contains the plots of the Fourier amplitude spectra (FAS) derived from the pseudoacceleration response spectra (PSA) predicted from the Next Generation Attenuation-West2 project (NGA-West2) ground-motion prediction equations (GMPEs) by inverse random vibration theory (IRVT), along with the range of frequencies used to determine κ0. The FAS plots are provided for individual NGA-West2 GMPEs and for the geometric mean of NGA-West2 GMPEs with and without the Boore et al. (2014) GMPE (BSSA14). The estimated κ0 for geometric mean of NGA-West2 GMPEs with and without BSSA14 are provided in this electronic supplement, as are the random-effects results for models 1–4, discussed in the main article.
All figures show Fourier amplitude spectra calculated from median predicted values of PSA using inverse random vibration theory (IRVT) (dotted lines) and showing the frequency range used to calculate (solid lines) for the GMPEs and intensities shown. The GMPEs referred to in this study are ASK14 (Abrahamson et al., 2014), BSSA14 (Boore et al., 2014), CB14 (Campbell and Bozorgnia, 2014), CY14 (Chiou and Youngs, 2014), and I14 (Idriss, 2014).
