This paper contains an evaluation of the accuracy of published response information for the Global Seismographic Network (GSN). In Figure 3 of the paper, we present a plot showing the ratio of the observed to theoretical amplitude and the phase difference between the observed and theoretical tides as a function of time for one GSN station, HIA. We provide here similar plots for other stations of the GSN.
These plots follow the pattern of Figure 3 in the paper. That figure contains the results for station IC.HIA (Hialar, China).
Each plot shows the ratio of the observed to theoretical M2 (principal lunar semidiurnal) tidal amplitude (top) and phase difference between observed and theoretical tide (bottom) measured from the VHZ-00 data channel for that station. Symbols denote the length of time series used in the computation. Dashed vertical lines represent changes to the calibration epoch, as found in the current dataless SEED volume available from the IRIS Data Management Center. These changes occur when either the sensor or data acquisition system is changed or when the system is recalibrated.
Figure 4 of the paper consists of a plot of the relative amplitude of M2 versus relative amplitude of mode 0S0 for many stations of the GSN following the Sumatra-Andaman Island earthquake of 2004. The plot in Figure 4 does not identify the points by station. Included here are the raw data from which that plot is constructed:
