Join us at Saint Louis University, where the ES-SSA was founded 100 years ago. Focused primarily on advancing earthquake science in Central and Eastern North America and intraplate seismology, this meeting also welcomes contributions from other aspects of earthquake sciences and seismology.

- Optional Field Trip to Onondaga Cave and Karst Features in East Central Missouri
Sunday, 26 October, 8am-4pm (tentative times)
This field trip explores why Missouri is known as the “Cave State.” Participants will visit several sites showcasing karst features in east-central Missouri, culminating in a guided tour of Onondaga Cave. A designated National Natural Landmark, Onondaga Cave contains an active cave stream, unique biota found exclusively in cave systems, and a remarkable array of speleothems including towering stalagmites, dripping stalactites, and colorful flowstone formations. Fee covers transportation, lunch, and guided tour. Maximum of 35 participants.
- Optional Workshop on Computer Programs in Seismology and Moment Tensor Inversion
Sunday, 26 October, 1pm-4pm
In this workshop, participants will be provided with current code and data sets. A VirtualBox image will be provided for use with Intel computers. The workshop consists of an overview of the codes of Computer Programs in Seismology and moment tensor inversion of real data sets. Participants will be provided with details upon registration. No fee. Maximum of 25 participants.
