The Nevada Seismological Laboratory (NSL) at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for three positions: two Specialists and one Coordinator 1, Seismic and Fire Camera Systems.

The Nevada Seismology Laboratory (NSL) is a research organization in the College of Sciences.  The NSL operates the Nevada Seismic Network through an on-campus data center/ lab facility connected to monitoring stations throughout Nevada and California. Data sent from field stations is used to detect, collect and study seismic activity.  Recent years has seen increased wildfire activity throughout California.  The NSL has acquired grant funding to expand the seismic stations with camera monitoring equipment for early fire detection.
